The merry merry month of May

With three boys, the world is never dull. Each one brings his own skills, curiosity, and excitement. Ethan is the planner, Garrett the doer, and Tanner is the talker (I think). In the past two months our family has been through several tough situations. End of march held two: father in law with knee surgery and the birth of Tanner. Ten days later, uncle Dave, my brother, had a massive heart attack where they had to resuscitate him 17 times. He had a quick recovery in Georgia where he has become one of the miracles. He has some memory loss but is aware of it and trying the relearn what he has forgotten. Ten days after Dave's heart attack and upon seeing his fast recovery, my father returns home to get back to work... That didn't last long. He was home less than two hours when he broke his hip. Now with three children, one of which is only three weeks old, I am driving, against doctors orders, to the hospital with all three in tow to find out what is next. Dad had hip replacement surgery the next day. He has been on the road to recovery physically and is doing well. He doesn't remember anything about the day it happened, any of the ER interactions, or how he fell...? We also had two counts of strep when Tanner was due to come home, both boys at home with grand parents!!! Garrett has been having lots-o-snot, too resulting in ear infections. What a ride!
